ROSELLE LEAF

ROSELLE LEAF

Hibiscus sabdariffa

Roselle leaves are used as a great vegetable with a sour kick. Young fresh leaves can be used in salads, and there are even some fantastic curry like dishes which utilize the leaves. The leaves also impart a wonderfully sour component to beverages. Unlike the Roselle Calyx, the leaves lack the brilliant reds and pinks, instead imparting a green through brown color, depending on the temperature they are cooked under.

Formosa North offers Roselle Leaf grown on our farms in SE Taiwan. The the leaves are harvested by hand, washed and dried. The leaves will last 2 years in proper storage. We also offer Dried Whole Roselle Calyx as well as Roselle Calyx Powder.
