Green Bananas are used as a staple food source worldwide and provides a valuable source of starch and nutrients to a wide range of cultures. Our Green Banana Flour is a blend of two types of plantain banana (Musa acuminata × balbisiana AAB & Musa acuminata × balbisiana ABB), not the commercial dessert banana by product. Perfect for baking, beverages, creamy treats. Green banana flour is a very good low-carb, gluten free, wheat alternative and is naturally a safe flour for those with nut or soy allergies.

Formosa North offers Green Banana Flour grown on our farms in SE Taiwan. The green fruits are harvested by hand, hand washed, peeled, cut, dried and powdered. The powdered product will last 2 years in proper storage. Our Green Banana Powder is a specialized blend of of 2 plantain banana varieties originating Africa and the Philippines and grown by us on our farms in Taiwan.
